I was just directed to it and signed up. I honestly think this will be our man in '08 and I think when it comes he will win in a Landslide the likes of which have never been contemplated in this country. http://www.algore-08.com

Isn't it a little early for that? Or is it owned by people who want to draft him?

7. Ah, yes. I thought I recognized it. Good for you! |

I'd love to see Al Gore run again--though I don't know that he'd want to. Has he said anything about it?

He is still undecided. Just like Hillary, Kerry, ect. he says he doesn't intend to be a candidate, but can't rule it out. Here are his quotes on the 2008 election: http://s8.invisionfree.com/Al_Gore_Support/index.php?showtopic=2283&view=findpost&p=7452588

With all that is going on I hadn't really thought about this lately. 2000 seems like a lifetime ago but maybe it isn't too late for Al to be a true comeback kid.
A definite possibility.

We have a pretty active community there, all of which are committed to seeing Al Gore duly elected to the White House.
Glad to have you!

12. Gore/Clinton - Restore America. |
|
That's a compelling campaign slogan, eh?
I still love Gore, and we'd be greatful to have him LEAD this nation, but I'm actually thinking Kerry would be a more electable candidate in 08 (just like I thought Gore would have been THE candidate in 04). and I worry about Hillary being the nominee - not that she's not capable, this is a matter of who can get the most votes. I think Kerry might have an edge on Gore in that dept.
But Gore/Clinton does have a nice ring to it.

13. Gore is the best man for the job of president. if he runs i'm with him |
|
with dean as DNC head, it gives gore a bit more incentive to run. and damn i hope he does,.
i am trying to get free in mid july to travel to his gathering in Tn
when i look at all the other potential candidates, all with some very good qualities, i just return again and again to gore, because he has the entire package. experience, social liberal, economic populist, environmentalist, internationalist. he has it all.
i think he scares the shit out of some well heeled party leaders who fear dean and gore will transform the party into a real political movement party and leave them hanging.
and this time if he runs, he will take no prisoners either of the opposition smear artists or press who will lie and distort his message. gore will play hardball if he comes back.
his speech for moveon.com at NYU in august 2003 is the best speech i heard in a long, long time.
