Make Ohio Great Again!
Sorry if this has been posted before. I just got this e-mail. :)

..........

Dear Friend,

Ohio is a state in crisis.

298,000 jobs lost! State tax cuts reward the rich while the tax burden increases for middle class families and small businesses. Unexplained losses of $210 million in a risky hedge fund and $619 million "unaccounted for" in Medicaid! And now $13 million in state funds lost on rare coins and Beanie Babies! It's clear that the folks in power at our Statehouse have the wrong priorities.

Together We Can Make Ohio Great Again.

I announced in February that I was running for governor because I can no longer see our once great state continued to be run into the ground by leaders unable and unwilling to focus on the problems we face.

I need you to join me in this fight. Click here to receive updates on my campaign.

As the second term mayor of Ohio's largest city and the 15th largest city in the nation, I have taken the tough challenges head on. As the state increased taxes and grew its budget by 25 percent, we managed city funds raising city spending by a mere 1 percent over four years. As the State has lost jobs, we have helped create and retain more than 12,500 jobs during my time as mayor and we have added more than 12,000 new housing units in our city.

I have traveled the state for the past five months gathering the great ideas of Ohioans on how to turn our state around. I believe with my executive experience and equipped with your energy, support, and ideas, we can make Ohio Great Again.

Please come to our website -- www.colemanforohio2006.com and learn more about me and my campaign and how you can help.

While you visit our site, please sign up for regular email updates from our campaign and contact us with your ideas.

I know we can get Ohio back on the right track if we work together.

This will be a tough campaign. The people in charge of this state for the past 12 years are not going to go away without a fight. But we will not improve Ohio until we put an experienced, effective leader in office. As I have said many times, Taft, Petro, Montgomery and Blackwell are all the same pot of coffee. And what do you do when the coffee is old, cold, bitter and stale? You throw it out and get a new pot!

Thank you for your support.

Mike Coleman

P.S. Together we can make Ohio strong again. Join my campaign today, click here to sign up.

2. Just wanted to add my thoughts
Govenors win elections for POTUS.

Repugs lose when they don't win Ohio.

Coleman has a pretty good record here in Columbus.

From his site:
Blackwell, Petro, Montgomery, & Taft...Unfit To Lead

Ohio's Republican state executives, "The New Ohio Gang", have spent the past 12 years running this state into the ground. Read about the failed leadership of Bob Taft, Ken Blackwell, Jim Petro, Betty Montgomery, and others:

I don't think any current Republican can win against him. (maybe Taft)
