C-Span Sounded BETTER This AM!
Much to my amazement MORE people called in AGAINST the policies of "The Corrupt Ones" and that includes many Repukes.

Frankly I was shocked. I usually just let the TV run and listen while I do my morning "chores", but actually sat down for a while to see if I was hearing correctly.

While the Repukes weren't TOTALLY against "The Corrupt Ones" they seemed to be getting frustrated with some of the policies!

Maybe there is such a thing as HOPE on the horizon! But then again, tomorrow may be different!

3. Next To Wellstone.... One Of The LAST Vestiges of HOPE
in today's Congress. But let's not forget the GREAT John Conyers, and Barbara Boxer!

We have sooooooo few these days!

I wish they would have John Edwards on too. They HAVE covered some of his meetings, so that makes me happy too!

As a Liberal, I'm really leaning toward Edwards for THE WIN, even though he's much more moderate than I!

4. The great migration - from sucker patriot to realist patriot. Pardon my

gross bluntness. But, we need to tell it like it is. What do you call people who don't like that our soldiers are being killed, but think it is necessary.

A nicer word is self-blinded, but, I prefer sucker patriot because these soldiers are being rented under a lie by the people running this country for their own purposes. It's all coming out now, though O'Neill and Clarke already told us and thousands of common citizens quickly figured it out and told us.

They are triple suckers if they have learned about PNAC and the growing takeover by right wing terrorists of this country and other parts of the world, but still stubbornly approve of what PNAC and the cabal are doing.

This is all being done for the corporate-cabal profit for a few - including corporate network and media partners who omit, distort, slant, and contort reality and are responsible for creating, feeding, and fostering suckers.

5. A Statement Was Made This AM Regarding
Just WHO owns each station. The caller named each station and who owned it. That is GOOD information that CANNOT be ignored.

C-Span is watched by both sides, whereas some of the "alternative" stations I listen to are totally ignored. So some there seems to be some headway.

I've often said in the past that when the under belly of the "red staters" realize that there is really NO trickle down, and they can't pay their bills, find a good job OR put food on the table, THE SQUEEZE is on!!

It's taking much too long for sure, but I've had some first hand experience with this problem. In the past 6 months I've doled out more than $4,000.00 to help families in need. And I mean families who have had their phone turned off, the electric turned off, being threatened with foreclosure and have had to sign up for welfare. And I don't have THAT kind of money to spread around! I simply couldn't let them lose everything. THEY promised with all their hearts to pay me back, but I don't see that happening. I just let them keep their dignity by signing notes to me. But when you're THAT FAR down, how do you get up in this economy today??? I'm not blowing my horn here, just stating the facts!

Call me stupid for taking money out of my IRA, but these were truly people in dire need, and local charities can't or won't help out. One lady just recently suffered a heart attack, so FINALLY she will get Social Services to look at her situation! Her roof leaks, and they gave her $105.00 a mo. in food stamps! Whoopee! I can spend that much in a week!

6. Same Thing Here
I had turned it on for background noise as I wondered around trying to figure out my day. Then I started to take notice when what sounded to be an elderly woman called in. She declared herself to be a lifetime Republican but said she was fed up with the spending and the war and on and on. This was one disaffected Republican. Then a few minutes later it caught my attention again when a very well, but plain, spoken gentleman with a southern accent spoke up about the misdirection of the country. This was getting good. The next tidbit that caught my ear, and really shocked me to tell the truth, was the voice of a young man imploring C-Span to cover the Conyers Forum tomorrow.

Good way to start a day.

Thom
