this morning while trying to preaching to the choir at conference of energy producers pushing his "plan". Pushing drilling Anwar still and building "nucular" plants--and seeking legislation to protect the builders of the first 4 from lawsuits. What else--bio fuels, hybrid cars, modern electrical grid... quite a shopping list.
You know, I wish someone could produce some document that was proof definitive that these oil men KNEW about Peak Oil and actively connived on paper to game the system as much as possible while it lasts. Now that would be another smoking gun.
I feel ill after listening to that lying creep stand up there and try to sell himself as the "energy pre.." (sorry, can't use that word in the same sentence that includes even the thought of that ill-conceived creature). He's stolen that office 2x in 5 years and he has yet to really support any measure beyond drilling Anwar and pushing nucular energy.
Rant off.

Everybody laughed. The real irony (or one of many) is that we have the technology to get 60mpg cars, or more, but we insist on driving gas hog SUVs.
