protesters can't be in smirk's "line of sight" SS says

Town abuzz over Bush's visit

In a rush to get ready for President Bush's visit today, carpenters set a Penn State stage to White House orders, and a huge Air Force cargo plane dropped in to disgorge limousines and heavier-duty vehicles before roaring off again.

-snip-

Outside the barricades today, county Democratic Chairman Bob Shepherd said, more than 20 groups are expected to offer "a form of silent protest against the truly awful policies under President Bush."

Protesters plan to set up in Shortlidge Plaza near the Life Sciences Building sky bridge, a stone's throw from where the president will speak.

"The Secret Service told us we may not be within the line of sight of the entrance that the president will use," Shepherd said.

5. Bet protesters rattle him so much he
becomes incoherent--er.. at least more incoherent than he normally is. God help me, but I loathe the sight of that creature. Never have had such a reaction to another human being in my life before. Never knew I was capable of the emotion the sight of him prompts in me.

Yeessh....shudder.

13. He brings out the worst in me, too.
I've never felt revulsion for anyone before. Just complete revulsion. I've disliked some people. I've disrespected some people. I've been annoyed and disgusted with some people. But never felt revulsion. Never felt like I was a hostage stuck down in quicksand before. Never felt suffocated before, just by looking at his repulsive face. He makes my middle finger stand straight up. bush is vile beyond words. What he's done, and ordered done in his name and authority, and condoned for the sake of his beliefs or his party or his power - just literally sicken me. He sickens me. Only comfort is in realizing how many people share that view with me.

8. Cripes, he really is emotionally fragile
if he'll be so utterly destroyed if he sees anybody who thinks he's WRONG in one of his tent meeting crowds.

The fact that he hasn't been struck by lighting is just more evidence that if there's any sort of a god, he's cut this planet loose to fend for itself.

9. Who pays for this crap? "Air Force cargo plane dropping in
limousines and vehicles"? Is it one of his 'town meetings' on SS? Or is he still ranking in money?

14. We probably pay for it, and our kids will pay for it, and our grandkids
will pay for it. All the money wasted in Iraq and our huge national debt will be a noose around the neck of every person in this country for generations to come. People know Bush is bad, but most have no idea how much LONG TERM DAMAGE he has done, and continues to do everyday while we just discuss how bad things are. :(
