Jacko's case is over. So is Baretta's and the run-away bride. The Terry Schiavo autopsy is finished. And Deep Throat is already old news.

Seems like there may be a void in the news cycle. Oh sure, there is the speculation about Tom/Katie nuptial plans. And, of course, the annual hurricane coverage. But one has to wonder what the lead story will be tomorrow after Congressman Conyers' hearings and subsequent delivery of the petition to the pretzledent...

Guesses anyone?

I may break from tradition and actually watch prime time news tomorrow. I hope I am pleasantly surprised, but I'm not putting any money on it.
