Some of those who will be there will be from DFA, others are free-lance anti-War people, Greens, Quakers etc.

7. The basic group KC Iraq Task Force has been together at the fountain

for about 3 years http://www.kciraqtaskforce.org - It consists of Quakers, Unitarians, Greens and other independents.

With the DSM development, Greater Kansas City Democracy for America http://dfakc.org - mailed its list this afternoon with a call to a rally tomorrow evening at 5:00 pm in support of Conyers.

11. I went to that website prior to invasion and actually went down to the

rallies around the plaza prior to invasion. But thanks for the link, I'd forgotten all about it.

I'm going to do whatever I can to be there tomorrow.

13. Patrice....I have a confession. I showed up and wasn't prepared

for some of "our" crowd. I'm sorry, but yelling, belittling, generally aggravating and verbally taunting passersby is not my idea of making a difference.

I want to help, but I will not be a part of some of what I saw tonight. Yelling at people and calling them names while they are stuck at a stoplight is not winning any friends or votes. It is only hurting.

I did see quite a bit of support from passers-by, but I imagine that I would have seen much, much more had some of "ours" not be yelling and belittling every driver. There are more effective ways to get our message out.
