After Michael got the settlement back in the early 90's on behalf of his wife, the Schindlers wanted a cut. Michael, who stated, it's Terri's money and it will be spent on Terri's care. The Schindlers didn't like that, and it was then all the bullshit began.
Michael loved his wife and wanted to make sure she was taken care of. The parents, are nothing more than opportunistic white trash.
They continue this bizarre self righteous crusade as a money making scheme. I bet you they are negotiating some sort of TV/cable movie deal.
I have never trusted these people.
Now that the facts come out that their daughter basically died years ago and was a vegetable with a walnut sized brain, that could never be brought back to reality, they have to go to plan "B". Call everyone liars.
They were banking on even the slimmest of evidence to prove that their daughter still had even the most basic lizard brain function, because then they could open a gap and run with it. With this autopsy information, their cause celebrity is now dead.
Be prepared, to have this story drag on for a few more weeks until it starts to slowly fade away. Remember, even the right wing religious nut jobs get tired of issues and stories that don't serve their evil purposes.

Last year someone close to me was taken off of life support and I requested them to do it. It's a very hard decision to make but by no means are they human garbage. I feel sorry for the parents because they were used and abused by Jeb and his minions. The mother will always feel close to her daughter no matter what part of the political side they are on.

Politics never should have entered into the fight for her life. She should have been taken off of life support years ago. The parents were living in a land of hopeless hope. They were blinded by the "right".

At first we fought to keep our loved one hooked up to machines and after a couple of years you realize that the hope is gone and the body needs to be buried.

Its a very touchy subject with me and I am still in pain over missing my loved one. When I fought for life support I was in another state of mind but I am not garbage nor was Terry's parents.

Terri for an hour after her heart stopped. WTF! Most everyone knows going w/o oxygen to your brain after a few minutes will cause a certain amount of brain damage. That is exactly what they did to my father ten years ago. He was with out oxygen for over 20 minutes, put him on L/S. We pulled the plug knowing that even if he came back, he would be nothing but a veg, and he had voice his opinion on that many times, stating that he never wanted to live like that.

to "save Terri", are scampering back under rocks. There was a segment on the vociferous bunch of neo-cons and thankfully, the tapes showed how incredibly foolish they were in this situation.

Terri was one of thousands across the nation facing this situation. I do not see "Dr." Frist making video diagnosis' on any others. Where is Tom DeLay, now that it has been shown that this woman had a brain that had atrophied to the size of a grapefruit, she had no cognitive powers left, and she was blind to boot. The 5 and 6 year old tapes we saw endlessly were NOTHING about the reality of the situation.

Terri's family is in deep denial, and that fosters the hatred they feel. I empathize with the family, who could bear to lose a child w/o the burden of severe sorrow?

But there are no grounds for a law suit...who will they sue? The laws of Fl were adhered to, Michael Schiavo was exonerated from any hint of abuse...what is left?...sue someone because of the media circus that surrounded the situation.

I fear that Terri's parents will be filled with hate, and never resolve the issue...they will search for a 'culprit', and never understand that if Terri would have 'lived another 10 years', her brain would have atrophied even further, and she would be in a constant state of misery. The '10 years' Terri MIGHT have lived, would have seemed like a thousand years to her...:(
