WashPost mentions Conyers DSM forum 6/16! |
|
Oh mercy me! Stop the presses!
Today's Washington Post actually MENTIONED this afternoon's Conyers hearing on the Downing Street Memo. It omitted mention of the planned rally and petition presentation outside the White House, naturally.
Media columnist Howard Kurtz gave it a HALF SENTENCE, buried deeply in the middle his Style section story on how the media missed the story on the DSM. LOL!
The story itself was buried on the bottom right corner of the front page of Style. There was nothing about it in the front section of the paper.
What guts! What courage! Right in the tradition of the Post's dogged coverage 33 years ago of Watergate, eh?
I'm grateful for DU, Raw Story, and Buzzflash, because if I relied solely on the Post for news about DC, I would be clueless. As it is, I only read the Post for its comics section.

1. Hopefully, this will grow a pair of legs after the hearing... |

I am AMAZED at how many Americans STILL HAVE NO CLUE what all the fuss is about, and DISMAYED at the number of Americans that seem to discount the information contained in the memos / minutes...
More people have to start watching C-SPAN....maybe they need a good "Reality Show..."
"And next up.....Survivor - US Senate..." Then again, they cannot be counted to vote, or even take a roll on a vote, so where is the exitement?...

K. Graham rolls uneasily in the grave, while the current batch of Post "reporters" and "editors" put the spectre of her tit in the wringer of PROPAGANDA.

4. Heavens! Does this mean |
|
that someday I'll be able to watch tv news and actually FIND OUT what's happening?
Or is that still just an idle daydream?

5. I was just thinking... (hehehe) |

Did you noticed the behavior FAUX News members displayed after the Michael Jackson verdict was learned?
Now here's one of my idle daydreams. Aren't you just going to love watching Rush and FAUX busting capillaries when their furor follows the foot steps of Nixon?
