Have Kerry/Edwards addressed their pro-IWR votes since Kay's comments?
That he didn't think there were WMDs. That there are only
pre-gulf war weapons.

I was just looking back at a quote of Kerry's in July, 2003:

(Kerry) "makes no apologies for the vote last fall to give authorization for military action against Iraq. "My vote was the right vote," he argued. "Saddam Hussein had to be held accountable for disarming."

Just seems like they'd be outraged at Bush for lying and killing,
and possibly themselves for enabling it.

1. Kerry and Edwards have both come back on their votes before this...

And I heard Edwards say today this is why he has been talking about setting up an investigation into what was known before the war.

6. You can say that again.
You have to draw a line in the sand somewhere, and the Iraq war is my line in the sand. Only a naive fool or hypocrite could be led to believe that Bush had a valid case to go to war and they gave him the power to do it.

7. Can't everyone make mistakes though?

We are human afterall. He has a great progressive record except for a few mistakes, not only that but he'll give Bush one hell of a thrashing.

To base your vote on one vote is very very tricky.

3. They haven't, and they won't
They are parroting Bush's PR line that we are "safer" since Saddam was captured.

They are morally bankrupt!

4. I predict their positions will remain exactly as they are
and I also predict the media will continue to paint them as inconsistent, which they are not.
