They must have been watching in their offices. |
|
Because they sure seem to be piling into the room now.
Let's see if a repuke or two has the guts, the integrity and the ethical fortitude to join them.

The whole thing stinks of course but this panel and the information, the way it has been presented is wonderful. I feel encouraged, not yet giddy, but much better than I did last month and before. That room is getting very full.

They are in and out because of voting I think. It is pretty cramped in there.

A couple of members have said they had 11 different floor votes, for which they are coming and going to vote on, and an appropriations meeting at the same time re: the Budget--Members are suspecting that the Repugs are doing this on purpose, to interrupt the meeting

10. They may be checking in |

Because when the forum (it's not an official hearing, whine the Repukes) is over, everybody is going to walk over to Lafayette Park to gather and then cross the street to the White House to present the petition asking that the Dear Leader be so kind as to respond to the letter that was sent last month.
I'm guessing that the White House won't be receiving such visitors, and George will be hiding behind the curtains, wetting himself and trying to pretend he's not home. Mrs. Bush sure did a lousy job of teaching her boy manners.

wondering what the status of the petition was.

If there are any DUers in DC who can join the procession, I understand they're welcome to do so.

17. Reason why Reps weren't all in the cellar at once? |
|
One of the Congresswoman....can't remember her name....stated that the Republicans had no only denied them a hearing room but gave them a little room in the basement but they also had placed 11+ bills up for vote that would require the Dems to either rush back and forth from the DSM Hearings in the basement or hopefully avoid the hearings altogether. She stated this number of bills up for vote in one day is unheard of and it was obvious that hearings such as this were making the Republican Controlled Congress nervous.
Highly recommend watching this on C-SPAN2 tomorrow there was so much more information coming out in this hearing that all Americans need to know.
