I'm really surprised there's no mention of this anywhere in the press this morning. I just happend to turn C-SPAN on just as they were reading the motion. I was apalled that the Speaker let the House applaud Sensenbrenner's comments!

Come on folks. He either broke the rules or he didn't, it's that easy. If you aren't going to enforce your own rules than why bother having them? Responsibility and accountability, now why would I think those two items should be present in a representative democracy? Sometimes I really hate partisan politics even though I know it is necessary.
