DSM hearing Rep Kaptur's comments on early troop deployments
This was a very important point Rep Marcy Kaptur of OH made. Early reserve unit deployments are a giveaway of Bush plans.

Also, Spec Forces Task Force 574 was in Afganistan in JULY 2001 -- well before Sept 11th, according to the Discovery Channel program aired Jan. 30, 2003 !

1. Yes, I caught that too. Apparently, she is a member of the
defense appropriations subcommittee, so she knows something about war deployments and spending. It sounded like Bonifaz was going to follow-up on her suggestions. I love his website.

7. Man, if those dates are correct...
then every tin foil hat explanation of 9/11, and more, must be true.

Think about it. If that June 29 date is for real, then this was all set in motion while Clinton was still president.

Either that or someone back-doored 40 million in DoD contracts behind Clinton's back.

I'm getting chills here.

read

"According to some estimates we cannot track $2.3 trillion in transactions," Rumsfeld admitted.

$2.3 trillion — that's $8,000 for every man, woman and child in America. To understand how the Pentagon can lose track of trillions, consider the case of one military accountant who tried to find out what happened to a mere $300 million."

War on Waste
www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/01/29/eveningnews/printable325985.shtml

and

Blank Check by Tim Weiner. The DoD can't find $2.3 TRILLION ? Please. They know right where it is. The CIA can even built multimillion dollar buildings in D.C. without Congress having a clue where the money came from.

Besides the unconstitutional war powers, Bonifaz and Rep. Kaptur should look into the unconstitutional FUNDING of these off-the-books off-the-record operations.

Apparently "oversight" is not allowed along with "accountability".

3. Yes...that was really a shocker ....Kaptur's comments. Something we
DU diggers might have overlooked, although I think I remember some discussion about it way back.

I was glad to hear her comment about the "Private Contractors" (Blakwater types) that I think she said there are 25,000 of :eyes: and that Congress has no information about them.

It's that "private army" that's worrysome, too. And, so glad she brought that forward.

4. Yep, I had to listen to that twice.
She's right. There's smoking gun material buried in the deployment records. And the fact that "contractors" are getting paid huge amounts of taxpayer dollars to constitute a private army while there's not enough money for armor for our enlisted soldiers is an outrage.

9. She may have trouble with off-the-books TaskForce121 types
of special forces operations. The DoD intentionally keeps this kind of spending out of Congressional oversight.

It is now a 'private army' out of Congressional control, and hence UNCONSTITUTIONAL appropriations, unless the source of the money is outside of US taxpayers. This begs the question 'what is the source of monies for these operations ?' Drugs, crime, immediately come to mind.

15. The Globalsecurity site only to Sept 23, 2002
Edited on Fri Jun-17-05 03:23 PM by EVDebs
The FromTheWilderness site does show:

""Stealth" mobilizations of Reserve and National Guard units, begun after Sept. 11, also indicate that as many as another 150,000 military personnel can be deployed within days or weeks of an initial surprise attack."

I believe that these stealth mobilizations began BEFORE Sept. 11, 2001, as I mentioned in my original post, mentioning Special Forces Task Force 574's deployment in Afganistan in JULY 2001 as mentioned on a Discovery Channel Jan 30, 2003 broadcast.

PBS and other sites mentioning special forces mobilizations in the war will only say they were deployed Oct. 2001 and not before.

12. TBH, I can't imagine Clinton would have been doing much on it.
The attack happened less than a month before the 2000 election.

13. But "why ?" was the USS Cole in Yemeni port in the first place ?
Isn't that more a DoD priority ? I can't see Clinton micromanaging to get that ship ported there...but I can imagine the JCS doing it. In any event, let the chips fall where they may.

14. Bush and Clinton deployments...who's responsible and when.
George W. Bush took office as 43rd President Of The United States Saturday January, 20, 2001.

Spec Forces Task Force 574 was in Afganistan in JULY 2001.

As far as I can tell, Bill Clinton had no hand in that deployment, although his involvement in the Enron pipeline shenanigans is without question. But the Bush team don't put any faith in that book Forbidden Truth, so, hey, you really can't blame Clinton on any of this stuff unless the Repubs try to make it so.

Keep alert.
