White House spokesman Scott McClellan says Conyers "is simply trying to rehash old debates."

We've got to start calling them out on this pathetic excuse. We should demand to see the video or minutes of these so-called debates.

Yeah...there was this debate called whether to go after Nixon in 1973 when the Watergate evidence started leaking through.

Yep....an "old debate" indeed.
