Each time we have reached a point where the possibility exists that the Cabal might be in trouble, scenarios run through my head, and in all of them I just don't see the Cabal relinquishing power voluntarily and peacefully.
Consider the current crisis. The war is a pile of bloody shit with no end in sight. Hearings are being held and it can no longer be ignored that the administration lied and deceived to take us to war.
In all liklihood impeachment, if it even gets that far, will fail on a party line vote. I'm ok with that. But suppose that the evidence is so compelling, and quite unexpectedly there are enough Republicans with sufficient integrity to vote their conscience, do you think the Cabal would even allow the vote to happen?
I don't see it.

1. I think we should consider that possibility. |

What if say 96% of Americans support the impeachment of Bush, and Congress refuses to do it? What then?
I'd argue that our government no longer serves the people. The Declaration of Independence is a very guide guide about what to do next.
