Poll question: What ratings numbers would happen if there were Bush impeachment hearings? |
|
Edited on Thu Jun-16-05 11:20 PM by zulchzulu
TV is all about numbers. Commercials can command bug numbers when sold on events, like the Stupor Bowl, the World Series, odd celebrity deaths/drownings/car accidents...
What better event that a Bush Impeachment Trial... add a Rummy and Cheny trial...live television...and if (like Fear Factor),they screw up...they get hanged for treason.

During the Nixon impeachment hearings there were no commercials, the people own the airwaves and the broadcasters more or less had to broadcast the concerns of the Nation. Corporations, inspite of the fact that the People still own the airwaves, won't let it happen. Way in the hell do you think political campaigns are so expensive nowadays. The corporations want us to pay through the nose for our airwaves!

3. Let's see... the daytime HUT levels from the July 2004 NTI... |
|
divided by the average % HHS of the Clinton impeachment hearings on NBC...
I give it a 9.2 HHR estimate...
LOL. Thanks for the opportunity! :hi:
