Dear Senator Clinton:
Dear Senator Clinton,

This is not the first time I have written you, nor will it be the last. You see, I am motivated and I will NOT be silenced. I have come to realize that our government has failed the American Public. As evidenced by the Downing Street MINUTES, other subsequently released documents, and statetments by this administration, we have been had and many innocent lives have been lost and continue to be lost. To be blunt Senator, I am a veteran, I am a citizen, and I am pissed off! Until you make your voice as my representative in the Senate heard loud and clear on this matter, you have failed me and you have failed this country. The truth MUST be uncovered. I encourage you to take up action in the Senate as Rep. Conyers has done in the House. As I understand it, Senator Kerry is circulating a document that will call for an investigation in this matter. As your constituent, I highly encourage you to sign and support such action. Who will be the last American to die for this mistake?

Sincerely,
Olaf

1. Recommended! Great letter!
I have truly been disappointed in Ms. Clinton's record since she was elected. I don't live in NY, but I was hoping that she would stand up and be a real leader and not just another compromising, corporate apologist.

2. YES! It isn't enough for 'our side' to comment when asked
- we need Senators to take a stand, to all get out in front with this issue.

3. Bravo, Soldier! You Command My Respect! All of US Should Do the Same
We need to contact our Senators and demand support for a full investigation backing Congressman Conyers and the House!

Well stated, Olaf!

I have found that I still have some things to fight for after all. We all do. It is our duty. You hear that alot in the military. Do your duty. Well, I am. It is my duty as a citizen and patriot to ensure that my elected officials are doing theirs. I am but one voice, but when combined with other voices, what a mighty roar we can make!!

if I may quote a little Shakespeare...

That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart; his passport shall be made
And crowns for convoy put into his purse:
We would not die in that man's company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.

(Henry V)
