I think we can all agree that Scottie M.'s dismissal of the questions presented by John Conyers, 122 other congressman, and 500,000 + citizens as an "old", well-covered issue that is being brought up by an anti-war congressman is BULLSHIT.
So if they won't listen to him armed w/ those signatures...
FLOOD the white house e-mail box w/ e-mails DEMANDING answers and explaning why.
You can do that at www.whitehouse.gov, go to the "Talk Back" section, specifially the "White House Interactive" section (which you can browse for a good dose of propaganda first) and then "Submit a question"
I'm still in the process of wording mine, but here's the rough draft:
"Hello -
My question is: Why hasn't the President responded to the numerous downing street meeting minutes that have come out in recent weeks AND been verified to be true by both administrations?
Also - Why was representative John Conyers not allowed to enter the Whit House to deliver his memo, complete with questions, signed by 500,000 + AMERICAN citizens, whom you work for - (not the other way around, WE elceted YOU, remember?)
Scott McClellon's response to the matter IS NOT sufficient and WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND answers to the questions. He says it's and OLD issue that has been dealt with, but may I please remind you that American soldiers are dying AS WE SPEAK - this is not an old, but a very real, very current situation.
All I ask is that President Bush answer the questions presented by John Conyers, 121 other REPRESENTATIVES of the PEOPLE and 500,00 + CITIZENS. This is a democracy, we can and will ask questions and demand answers, NOW. YOU answer to US. Scott's dismissal is irresponsible and arrogant.. If you truly have nothing to hide, answer the questions honestly and swiftly and make the 123 congressman and the 500,000+ people look like idiots.
