Dean comment substantiated by Ralph Reed
Found this little gem at Reed's campaign site . . .

"According to Election Day exit polls, white religious conservatives, who comprised 17% of the electorate in 1996 but fell to only 14% in 2000, surged to 23% of all voters (in 2004) — and 78% of them voted for Bush."

So Who Were Those Values Voters?

3. I knew the Religious Right just HAD to be
'tooting their own horn' about their power to elect (aka reminding Bush/Cheney who they are indebted to), somewhere.

My guess is there are probably more examples, like this, out there, but I have not had an opportunity to look for them, yet.

4. Interesting that this is the flip side of what Dean was saying
He said the reps are mostly white Christians, Reed said that White Christians are mostly reps.

5. Gag me
I dunno how the hell these ass-clowns can even begin to think they're followers of Jesus.

Can't fool all the people, but you can sure as hell fool Ralph Reed.
