the question was realistic. Randi Rhodes et al started talking about Conyer's hearing intentions early on in the week. The MSM could have started doing all kinds of background preparation and been ready for the hearing on Thursday for reporting that evening but they didn't. Conyer's on his web site gave up to date changes as to the where and when of the hearing so again, the media could have done their filming or print reporting immediately following and filed their reports Thursday but they didn't. So, commenting on the irony of it all is totally realistic IMO.
