My husband got a survey from Frist in the mail; anyone else get one? |
|
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 10:06 AM by SCRUBDASHRUB
It was asking questions such as do we want Congress to continue to pursue a Constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, for the US to pursue Al Queada, etc.? Then, at the end, it asked for a donation?! Yeah, right?! Not! Tore it up and trashed it. On second thought, maybe I should have used it as toilet paper and sent it back. Nice, huh? :)

|
change in it to increase the weight and return it to him and make him pay more for his postage paid bullshit!

3. Bullshit is the operative word. Don't know how we got on the |
|
list; neither of us vote Republican, obviously. Guess we got "lucky," huh?

4. No, you're just in his district. I get stuff from |
|
Heartless Heather Wilson (R-Cow) from time to time. She's too cheap to use SASEs, it's on a post card. So I trash it, since the questions are all push poll type questions, and why do you hate America if you don't agree with Her Eminence?
So the only stuff she ever gets back comes from the amen corner and she thinks she's doing a great job. ES&S put her there, and I suppose they'll keep her there until she shrivels up and dies from sheer meanness.

5. you should have filled it out |
|
and sent it back. if he sends it to enough of his not-like-minded constituents, maybe he'll change his tune. or not. anyway, fill it out and tape a couple of pennies to it for your donation . . . and to increase the postage as mentioned. :headbang:

7. Always return the envelopes heavily weighted...costs 'em money... |

doesn't matter about the "survey" one way or another. You think they care what you think??? They never look at responses, only for $$$ and for future mailing list info.

8. Before they had weight limits on pre-paid return |
|
mail I used to wrap a brick up and tape the envelope to the outside and drop it in the mail. Can't do that anymore, I just take the ads and flyers I get with it and stuff them in the envelope and send it back.

10. Do you have any idea what the weight limit is? |
|
I also know that the thickness also makes a difference, at least with other First Class mail. They charge extra because the envelope can't go through their automatic equipment.
