Which is "worse" -Bush crying - several times on TV - or Dean's Victory |
|
Yell?
Some newspaper they are reading on c-span now is saying how bad showing emotion has been in past presidential campaigns. I think all the "Bush men"- Sr., Jeb, and Jr. have all cried on TV.
Based on this newspaper's criteria, Bush should be put in the nut house.

I also believe he belongs in a nut house. We can even put him in a glass container and raise funds by putting him on display for the world to see.

2. Bush Is Positively Simian... |

I shudder that his behavior could become the benchmark by which other candidates are judged...

3. I cry all the time when bush is on tv |

and I change the station, too.
Crying about something, or better put, shedding a tear, is okay if its in the right situation... for example: I don't think crying would've worked for Dean the other night either.
I saw Dean's scream and knew exactly what he was doing but immediately said "he's done". It didn't come across very well on TV and the media built up the anger thing for so long... the look just fed right into what they were saying. The still photos looked worse.
I like how he came back from it though, especially when he quietly, calmly recites the states in a mock dignified manner. There just may not be enough time recover, though. Its not so much losing the first two states but losing the huge "he's the winner" leads. It appears as if its taking whatever shine he had nation-wide off of his image.
