Jeb's Heroic Stand on Shiavo: Fantastic and grand!
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 02:13 PM by skip fox
He says the state should look into the circumstances of Schiavo's death and the presumptive delay in her husband's call to 911.

Brilliant!

A man with dignity and love survives the bitter, misguided scorn of much of the nation and is even thwarted in carrying out his former wife's desires by the Congress of the United States, and now one of opponents, a simian opportunist who spreads inane implications and outright lies through a mouth full of his own fecal matter, implies the husband is a murderer, in part to cover his filthy behind. (The baseline of lying is reflex.)

Pragmatically (politically), it's right up there with W.'s insistence on pushing Social Security reform including private accounts.

Especially since the public hates their stances on both issues and the trap doors of opinion are slowly opening up beneath their feet! (Don't worry guys, the first step is a bit long, but you'll find the trip suits you.)

Is this current display by the shovel-nosed right beginning to sound like a novel with an end you would recommend? Stay tuned.

3. The Bush family must always have it their way. No second guessing..
...no dissenting, no questions asked. Whatever the issue, the Bush family is infallible.

These are the most despicable, arrogant scumbags on the planet.

6. And when the prosecutor says there is no case
the right-wing hate machine will say that the prosecutor is part of the vast leftist Schiavo conspiracy.

7. He can't help it; he's going through M. Jackson trial withdrawal.
And, such an altruist he is! Jebbie's just trying to fill a void for the cable news shows and give people something to talk to their hair stylists about.

9. Actually, Jeb picking a fight with the NYT
which Rush has convinced the country is a leftist commie pinko newspaper (hell its a PNACing Warmongering CIA enabling Fascist Rag, but they ignore that) is very very good politics for the cretins in Florida who vote for him.

Ponder that for a minute and think about the country we live in.

Move on, Gov. Bush (St. Petersburg Times editorial)
...The autopsy report says Michael Schiavo called 911 about 5:40 a.m. to summon help for his wife. Paramedics found her not breathing at 5:52 a.m., and a pulse was measured at 6:32 a.m. A University of South Florida pathology professor who reviewed the autopsy reports for the Times said he does not believe Schiavo could have been revived if her husband had waited 70 minutes to call for help...

...(S)tate law, medical conclusions by experts and court rulings by dozens of judges did not stop Bush from irrationally contesting Schiavo's constitutional right to have her end-of-life wishes followed. Now he won't let her autopsy be the final word. Despite his candid self-assessment earlier this week about his impatience and certainty of his own opinions, Bush really hasn't learned much at all about accepting when he is wrong and moving on.

11. Cheers me right up!
I love those St Pete editorials.

Does anyone know what that "70 minutes" is from? Is that what Terry's parents accused Michael of..waiting 70 minutes to call the parimedics?

12. Apparently Michael has given 2 or 3 different times of when he found Terri

between 4:30 and 6AM. His 911 call is recorded as coming in at 5:40 AM. But whose memory is fully functional that early in the morning, even under non-traumatic circumstances?
