9. Yes, I heard the debate about Yucca Mountain's suitability...
...goes back about 20 years. A scientist on NPR's Science Friday (TOTN) was saying that it is the absolute worst place for a Nuclear waste, and the argument for it is all politics.:nuke:

6. Where did you find this? I don't know if this is the answer you...
...are looking for, but this is what came up when I typed a Data file name into Google (BTW: I think it's the first perfect match I've ever gotten 1 of 1 results)

Googled - Mod3-ppt.dat

And got

AP-3.10Q.4
File Format: PDF/Adobe Acrobat
Page 1. Page 2. AP-3.10Q.4 Rev. 06/30/1999 OFFICE OF CIVILIAN RADIOACTIVE WASTE
MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS/MODEL REVISION RECORD Complete Only Applicable Items ...
www.ymp.gov/documents/amr/22492/22492.pdf - Supplemental Result - Similar pages

I've only read some of it, but it seams they are talking about CAD modeling or 3-D Modeling. My guess is that they are talking about a 3-D model of the Yucca Mountain Nuclear storage facility.

O.K., I'm going in (clicking it to see what the file is)
:evilgrin:

8. Well, here's the link to the pdf file
It's a huge document, mostly printed out computer code, why I don't know. Maybe someone wanted a back up (hard copy) of the computer code they wrote.

Some of it looks like it takes global warming into account, but that might just be one of the factors in the model

<http://www.ocrwm.doe.gov/documents/amr/22492/22492.pdf>

You might want to post this in the Science,
Environment & Energy forums, and the Computer Help and Support Group, they might be able to make better sense of it.
