UN & Bolton nomination--What do you think the likelihood of
some sort of deal being cut along the lines of the Senate agreeing to approve Bolton and knocking down that House Bill withholding dues to the UN contigent on reform--or vice versa?

1. The last deal didn't work out so well, did it?
Democrats may be more inclined to dig in their heels after getting suckered on the "compromise."

That said, Bolton will be in on a recess appointment if the Senate doesn't approve him. Cheney's will be done, etc. :grr:
