Clinton slams Guantánamo Bay prison
Bill Clinton has become the most prominent figure so far to add his voice to criticisms of the US prison camp at Guantánamo Bay in Cuba.

In an interview with the Financial Times, the former president called for the camp, set up to hold suspected terrorists, to "be closed down or cleaned up".

3. Expect the usual slamming of Clinton.
Anyone else saying this would be cheered. But in line with the feeling that somehow winning elections and being popular is a betrayal, dems will criticize him just to prove that we too will never forgive Clinton for success.

4. Cleaned up? How?
Quit locking folks up for no reason and without recourse? It's kind of hard to "clean up" an atrocity. And the reason the corrupt Bush administration chose Guantanamo in the first place is because they knew they could act there with impunity for as long as it took the wheels of government to process their extra-legal deception.
