DID George Bush just invite journalists go to Guantanamo?
Edited on Mon Jun-20-05 01:00 PM by Brundle_Fly
DID George Bush just invite international journalists to go to Guantanamo? In his press conference this morning?

I hope they all take him up on this, and we'll see if the President's invite holds any weight.

edit for typos

3. That was my first thought
Like the Hotel California, INternational Journalists at Guantanamo can check out any time they like, but they can never leave.

7. You can bet before he ever uttered those words...
the walls and floors were scoured, little hotel hospitality kits were set out next to the sinks and Laura was placed in the doorway wearing an apron and holding a plate of chocolate chip cookies.

8. Difine "Journalist"
Because if you mean, "someone who investigates, uncovers and reports the actual story", you'd be hardpressed to find any in the Whitehouse Press Corps... :eyes:

13. Does that include Arabic journalists?
Who can speak directly with the prisoners? Or do they just get to go to the cafeteria and try the new lemon chicken recipe??
