WAR WITH IRAN: neocons pushing a new justification
Edited on Mon Jun-20-05 01:51 PM by Julius Civitatus
Over the last couple of weeks we have seen a few reports, books and comments coming from renown neocons hitting that we need to invade Iran because Osama may be hiding there. Somehow I knew that the fact we had not captured Osama Bin Laden by now would be very, very convenient...

  • Neocon ideologue Michael Ledeen recently mentioned Iran is hiding Osama Bin Laden.

  • Neocon hack Kenneth Timmerman just published a book that uses one or two anonymous sources to tell us Osama is in Iran, and unverified reports (also told by unnamed sources) that claims Iran planned 9/11. Very convenient.

  • CIA director Porter Goss mentioned today, in a not very subtle way, that he knows where Osama is, and we could get him if we wanted to... but that would involve starting a war:

"When you go to the question of dealing with sanctuaries in sovereign states, you're dealing with a problem of our sense of international obligation, fair play," Goss said. "We have to find a way to work in a conventional world in unconventional ways."

  • US representative Curt Weldon (R - lunatic), and a bunch of unnamed, anonymous US officials (here we go again), claiming that the Iranian government is hiding Bin Laden.
I'm sad to say I think it's a done deal. We should brace for these people taking us, once again, down the path of war and chaos.

1. My personal theory
is that OBL is back in Saudi Arabia, relaxing at one of his family's many estates.

4. I thought of it too. Having cocktails with "Bandar Bush" and the rest
of the Saudi royals... which after all are his family.

2. I recommend you look at this
The author has been ridiculed by Bush Co. and as it turns out what he has said in the past has been found to be very true many times.

5. The war with Iran has already started...
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article9199.htm

It seemed strange to me that * would visit the Georgia area on his last overseas trip. Now it makes sense why...

But the CIA-backed campaign of MEK terror bombings in Iran are not the only action ongoing against Iran.

To the north, in neighbouring Azerbaijan, the US military is preparing a base of operations for a massive military presence that will foretell a major land-based campaign designed to capture Tehran.

6. Georgia
Bush's foreign visits are usually to countries that have never been visited by a US president. Notice how he never gives a speech to the people in Western Europe - never Britain, France, Germany, or Italy. It's always places like Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, and Georgia. By going to those places, he pretty much guarantees a big crowd where he won't be booed. The reality is that those countries would cheer for any US president that visited.
