The Downing Street Memo's are certainly damning testimony, and the war in Iraq is getting worse, not better but I think it might be a good time to start hitting the administration where they are the weakest, which is everything else - the economy, the environment, international relations etc. The War in Iraq is meant to distract from all of this, which it has done, but with the war in Iraq going badly, it is, IMO time to remind people of everything else that is going wrong. With the Bush administration on the ropes, why not increase the offensive?

I'm tired of the Dems always apologizing when they point out that the GOP are destroying our country. We need to start attacking and we need to grow the cajones NOT to apologize every time the GOP takes offense. We WANT them to take offense. We WANT them to have to defend themselves over every problem they have created. The deficit, the War in Iraq, high gas prices, millions without health insurance, millions without jobs, increased abortions under the GOP-led government etc etc etc.

I've been saying essentially the same thing since early in the Clinton administration. But, as I've pointed out to a few others recently, it's unlikely that gas prices are going to come down much - ever again.
