Survey USA Poll: Democratic Senators growing support, GOP bleeding
I go into a bit more detail on my weblog, but just look at these numbers! They show how much support senators have gained or lost from May 5th to June 6th when two different surveys were taken:

The question was "Do you approve or disapprove of the job Sen X is doing?" During the time of the Bolton and filibuster-nuking debates, Democrats overall picked up support while Republicans overall lost the approval of their constituent.

Oh happy day. Now why can't this shit happen in October '06?

11. Not a chance in hell...
At least not from what I see around me. The question is, were those polls taken by voters in those senators' respective states, or just voters in any state?

15. they might just want a better republican....
we want them politically wounded, not dead.

if their numbers drop too much, they'll drop out or lose the primary. then we have to face a newbie with big backing. better the devil you know.

19. Here's my idea for getting rid of some of these assholes
Executive Summary:

<snip>
The general idea is to register someone as a third-party candidate on an outrageously conservative platform for the purpose of acting as a spoiler to split the reich-wing vote.
<snip>
Wake-up in the morning and say to yourself, "Today, I am going to pretend to be Alan Keyes."
<snip>
You are going to run as the most godwhacked fundamentalist theocratic fundie that has ever been seen. This will split the Conservative/Republican vote, giving the Progressive and/or Democrat a better chance.
<snip>
Remember: The goal is to split the bigot-fundie vote between the REAL Conservative Godwhack candidate and yourself.

10. Because The Republican-Machines Own The Voting-Machines...
that's why. It's not "voter fraud," it's "voting machine fraud" and until a non-partisan group can oversee the entire process, or "we the American citizens" are given a paper-trail (like ATM machines, receipts, etc.,) this shit will can on happening.

Democracy? What Democracy? It's a Republic Party where everyone's invited to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bananas).

17. The numbers are from 50 different state wide surveys
Edited on Mon Jun-20-05 11:45 PM by Bucky
How could I make up numbers like that? That doesn't even make sense. Survey USA did the research. They're a legit outfit.

Jeezum, what a question.
