McClellan SOLVES DSM issue. They were "UK-related." THANKS, Scott!
NOTE: McClellan ducks the issue, doesn't answer the question, and immediately moves on to another subject. And since Blair ADDRESSED this, I guess we have no further need to discuss it. WOW!

For Immediate Release
Office of the Press Secretary
June 20, 2005

Q All right, Scott. At their joint news conference, both President Bush and Prime Minister Blair denied the major assumptions out of the so-called Downing Street memo. We've had other revelations, I guess, since then. But is the President wondering how the intelligence operatives and diplomatic operatives of the key ally in this mission came to these assumptions, came to these conclusions? Isn't he wondering how this happened?

MR. McCLELLAN: I think Prime Minister Blair addressed this very issue. They were memos relating to the United Kingdom and he addressed the issue in a news conference.

2. What ever happened to...
Q: Yes, Scotty, but he did a shitty job addressing the issue and we the press would like to seek some clerification, as a whole, we are not satified with the "non-reponce" and would like more?

Man those were the days,

4. US fixing intel is a UK problem. Nothing for Americans to care about.
It's the UK's problem that the US is lying about intel for the purposes of an illegal war. Why anyone in the US care that the admin. fixed intel for the purpose of conning the world into an idiotic war? It's not like anyone died or it cost us any money or made us less safe. Those are only UK problems. God loves us too much for us to suffer.

6. Exactly...
The US lied to get the UK to enter into an unjust war. It sounds like their problem, not ours. :sarcasm:

5. Well, poor Scottie.
I think Ari left when (a) the gay rumors got to be too much, and (b) reporters were laughing out loud AT Ari in the press conferences.

Scottie is in a hopeless situation, trying to twist words to have no meaning, or to deflect everything to something that's already been said by someone.

Not that I am defending him.

His mom is expected to run for governor of Texas. I am assuming that she will be the Bushie candidate.

Back to the DSM -- the Bushco strategy, as reflected by most of the scanty newspaper headlines, has been to place the DSM in the context of British elections, British politics, and nothing that Americans would have any real interest in. It's across the Atlantic, doncha see.
