Bush knows what Bolton is hiding ...
But his only concern is that it will be discovered. That is the only reason he would hesitate to do a recess appointment. Because it is a gamble. What if Bolton is connected to the newly uncovered DSM ? And if Bush were to nominate Bolton and then the facts came out, how would that reflect on Bush? If he does not nominate Bolton, I would think this DSM is at the front of his concerns...

2. Bush is hiding it too, my friend
and soon we will all know it!
Too much heat from all over, busy putting out too
many fires. A mistake is begging to be made.

3. Bolton Also Helped Oust A Diplomat Who Was Making Progress

in getting the inspectors back into Iraq, before the time when they actually went in this last time. Bolton worked to make sure the inspectors didn't get back in.

Bolton Said to Orchestrate Unlawful Firing

By CHARLES J. HANLEY
AP Special Correspondent

John R. Bolton flew to Europe in 2002 to confront the head of a global arms-control agency and demand he resign, then orchestrated the firing of the unwilling diplomat in a move a U.N. tribunal has since judged unlawful, according to officials involved.

A former Bolton deputy says the U.S. undersecretary of state felt Jose Bustani "had to go," particularly because the Brazilian was trying to send chemical weapons inspectors to Baghdad. That might have helped defuse the crisis over alleged Iraqi weapons and undermined a U.S. rationale for war.

Bustani, who says he got a "menacing" phone call from Bolton at one point, was removed by a vote of just one-third of member nations at an unusual special session of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), at which the United States cited alleged mismanagement in calling for his ouster.

The United Nations' highest administrative tribunal later condemned the action as an "unacceptable violation" of principles protecting international civil servants. The OPCW session's Swiss chairman now calls it an "unfortunate precedent" and Bustani a "man with merit."

"Many believed the U.S. delegation didn't want meddling from outside in the Iraq business," said the retired Swiss diplomat, Heinrich Reimann. "That could be the case."

4. I think Bolton is a key player in a lot of scandals. He was one of the
jackals that shut down the Florida recount for the 2000 vote, he is guilty in helping this administration lie and deceive us into this immoral war, he has something (I don't know what) to do with the Valerie Plame affair, I bet he's also involved in the AIPAC spy scandal. And then there's the things like his obstructionist, unprofessional, and psychotic behavior in every government post he's ever had.

Typical bush** administration material. Wait 'til the history of this country is written for these times. Killers, liars, mercenaries, terrorists (Negroponte, Goss), you name the crime and there's a bush** official as guilty as sin.
