Just how big a crook is Duke Cunningham ? |
|
They turn over a little rock out in California and they find that an individual sold a house he bought from Congressman Cunningham (R) for $700K less than he paid for it ?? Just a bad investment, you might think? Well, it turns out that the person who bought the house from the distinguished Congressman was also a Defense contractor...And with Cunningham's assistance, this same person who bought the Congressman's house was getting contracts of $30-40 million...
And when Duke went back to Washington to "serve" his constituents, he was living on a boat, the "Duke-Stir" down in the Yacht Club. Whose boat do you think it was?? It belonged to his friend, the Defense contractor that bought his home out in California? Was he paying any rent or was it for free? Nobody knows yet. The Dukester says he will put out the information when he feels it is appropriate. I think about now is the appropriate time, Mr. Cunningham. But, I guess we would rather talk about the words of Senator Durbin than the dirty deeds of a dirty Republican Congressman?

1. We should take all the congresspersons |

pay and benefits away. Make them live off only their ill-gotten gains. Looks like they are doing pretty good. Why should we subsidize them? Their pay and benefits amount to welfare. :sarcasm:
