Is Fox going left wing?
6/21/2005
Fox network pimps and the whores who love them.

Greed is a human attribute I cannot fathom. It can be an erratic or it can be strategic. Ayn Rand said it was a virtue. I don’t go along with that. If it is channeled correctly, it can be beneficial to all parties involved. It looks good on paper and in theory. However, greed has created the most evils deeds in the annuals of Human kind. Take Rupert Murdoct for example. The Austrian media magnate is wants to be this centuries Randolph Hearst. Hearst not only reported the new but he made the news. Hearst started the Spanish/American war. Murdoct is drunk with power. After watching 10 years his media empire grow, I notice that he is NOT a conservative but a greedy opportunist. If he thought that there was money to be made promoting Liberal politics, he would. His product: right wing politics was different. Nobody was doing it on the commercial airwaves. What Murdoct did was to commercialize conservative politics. It worked during the Clinton era. Clinton bashing became really profitable and Fox was getting top advertising dollar. Now the winds are blowing toward the left and Fox news ratings is going in the toilet. The American public is getting tired of being bombarded of Republic propaganda, even if it’s done in an entertaining tabloid fashion. The American people are developing an aversion to politics. They turn the dial when the news is on. Because they all know it all dog shit. Murdoct knows which way the wind blows. Just take a look what is advertised on Fox news. None are fortune 500 companies. Now on their entertainment channel: FX, it is a different story. They have shows that right wing Christians would detest. But ratings are beating their own news network. There was a fine line between irony and hypocrisy.
Enter: Morgan Spurlock. The documentary film -maker whom’s film last year, “Super size me” got an academy award nomination. That movie took on the MacDonald Corporation and showed how unhealthy their food was by eating nothing but their food for 30 day’s. Now he has a show on FX, it’s called, 30 Days. It comes on Wednesdays at 10 PM. His first show was about him and his Fiancée living on minimum wage jobs in Columbus Ohio. Now this puts the real in reality TV. One part of the show he and his Fiancée got ill and didn’t have health insurance. He had to go into his savings to pay for the doctor bill. This was a kick in the balls of the Republican agenda. They believe that Capitalist health care is perfect and if the poor can’t afford it, oh well, that is tough shit. But what blows my mind…THIS WAS ON THE FOX NETWORK!!!! If a show like this were shown in the 1950’s, it would have been considered to be anti-American communist propaganda. Yes, greed is a funny thing. So is Murdoct a whore or a pimp? Maybe both.

2. Could very well be
The media is Conservative-saturated. Espousing a Liberal viewpoint is a market niche that's underserved at best. It's an opportunity to pound the competition.

Too bad CNN, MSNBC, or others haven't figured this out.

4. Gawd, I thought this came from Fox
but it's actually from a leftwing chat group. He's got some good points but I don't think Fox will be turning left anytime soon. There's too much money to be made on the right.

5. Personally, I think Murdoch wants to see a Hillary v McCain match in 2008
because THAT would become a bigger viewing sport than Football, baseball or basketball combined. They know if they promote Hillary in ways to make her seem more formidable then she will win the nomination. THEN they will target her even more fiercely than they did Bill, Gore or Kerry.

I think alot of networks are thinking like that and they will do everything they can to assure that happens. And they will make certain that Jeb is McCain's running mate.

6. RW Clear Channel stations are now programming Air America
I read an article about it. Clear Channel has always been a repug propaganda network, but they're programing left wing talk so they can go after the $$$$ because left wing talk is HOT. If left wing programming is profitable, that's what we'll get. It's all about the bottom line.
