Hypocrite Frist explains Durbin's "apology"...
I caught the end of his remarks as I was flipping the cable...He was commenting that our words have meaning and we have to be careful what we say because the remarks can go around the world in seconds... He too, had said things in the past, that he shouldn't have said. Blah..Blah...Bullshit...

However, if Durbin's remarks were so dangerous to our troops, what would he say about Bush's comments when he challenged the insurgents to , "Bring it on!" ? What effect did the pictures of Abu Graib have on our troops when they were broadcast over al Jazeera? And all the pictures of mangled bodies that the Iraqi people see on TV everyday that we do not get to see? Do you think any of that causes anyone to hate our "troops"? Get real. You succeeded in stifling free speech on the floor of the Senate with the false claim that this was somehow endangering our troops. It is you and your Party that are endangering our troops, make no mistake about that.

2. Durbin wasn't talking about the troops. But he didn't have the guts
Edited on Wed Jun-22-05 09:20 AM by wurzel
To say he was talking about the Bush Administration. But he chickened out and allowed the Repukes to characterize his words in their terms. I don't know when the Dems will ever learn. ALWAYS SEPCIFICALLY NAME THE TARGET! If they mean Bush say Bush. If not. SHUT UP.

3. He should explain his own service to Mammon - Evangel-Business
based on Votes FOR WAR!!! People die and their lives are destroyed for our domestic politic$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!

Bush's War is based on LIES.

Pro-Life is Dead!

BTW - Whatever happened to all of those Iraqi-Prisoner pictures we weren't even allowed to see? Videos and stuff from personal equipment etc.

4. Too bad some brave Senator didn't rise to the occasion and
demand Frist be taken down. 99.9% of what comes out of Frist's mouth is offensive and inappropriate.

5. Pimps Activist Judges for *Co - while organizing against "activist judges"

Which translates to "ALL Our Activist Judges and NO judges for You."

Rejecting "stare decisis" is the essence of Activism and PREJUDICE!
It is insanity.

Not to even mention how crazy it is to send DICTATOR-ARMS-DEALER BOLTON to represent us at the UN, while there are those in Congress now who are seeking smaller NUCLEAR WEAPONS, because they'd be more USEFUL - for the NEXT WAR! Truly someone here belongs to the Uber-Machine-Soul, "Give us your Flesh. Mammon commands it!"

6. June 19 MTP
MR. RUSSERT: Will the Senate take any action against him?

SEN. McCAIN: I predict to you that by the time this program is shown next Sunday that Mr. Durbin will have apologized.

Hey McCain, it isn't "Mr. Durbin" ... it is SENATOR Durbin! Senator Durbin was reading the truth.
