Fun Afternoon on C-Span: Flag Burning Battle. Dems Go on Attack!!
Rep. Gene Taylor (D. Miss.) is offering a series of Amendments to the proposed Flag Burning Constitutional Amendment which will address balanced budgets, social security, etc....gonna be fun....

2. Wasted energy
I would like to see these congress critters get as excited about protecting our troops as they do this rag. You can replace a flag, you can't replace your children. This is just another attempt to draw attention from the serious problems the republicans are having right now. MJ trial is over, Scott Peterson is history, and they are desperately trying to find something to detract from DSM and the rising death toll in Iraq. I think they are about to implode.

3. Mr. Taylor is sensational!!! They wanna play games---bring it on.
This approach has them so twisted up in their stilted rules process, that they don't know their belly button from their elbow, or any other body part.

"Obstructionist" for not allowing an "up or down" vote on a balanced budget amendment for the last four years. Priceless!!!!!

8. That was sweet! Taylor boxed Sensenbrenner in so neatly!!!
Said he'd offered him a chance to adopt the balanced budget amendment and they turned it down. He's disappointed in the reps who took out the Contract with America. That was simply brilliant.
