1. Hopefully when we get someone with a huge number of delegates |
|
tis will either be after February 3rd if Dean sweeps the primaries on this day, or Super Tuesday if Dean stumbles on February 3rd.

3. Shortly after March 2nd we'll have a better idea |
|
or if it goes longer, until about 2/3 of the states hold primaries. I look for 3 - 5 candidates to drop out after March 2nd so it will start winnowing aroound then.

6. And why are you listening to CNN and FAUX?? |
|
I believe Dean will be the nominee, but as of right now, there is no such person. Though it is advisable that this race be decided by March so that the Democratic Party doesn't look like this board has looked for the last few weeks, and we're united behind our nominee - whomever that may be - against Bush Jr.

7. No, I actually refer to the Dean blog |
|
From early polling, I see Dean "winnning, placing, or showing" in many early primary states. (FYI - horse racing termonology - win, place or show meaning 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in most primary states.)

It will be at the Democratic National Convention July 26-29 in Boston. Until then, there will be no nominee.
If the delegates are split between multiple candidates, there could be some back room dealing to give certain delegates to other candidates. Also, the delegates may or may not be binding depending on the state.

10. The end of July isn't gonna work..... |
|
It's gonna take longer than 3 months to bring that unelected fascist down. Why don't they just move up the damn convention if they're that concerned with the formalities. We need a united party and a nominee with 6 solid months to battle the Idiot Son of an Asshole.
