Well, I never thought I'd look it in the eyeballs but I did tonight and suddenly it all became clear to me. I am looking into the eyes of people who worship GREED!

I met a very nice couple who are developers. Moved to our area recently. They found out I work for an Indian tribe and I got the usual run of prejudice out of their mouths like:

oh, those people are always wanting handouts!
Oh, really? Most, if they want handouts, don't know how to get them!

Oh, those people are rich, they are all rich off casinos!
Um, dickhead, less than 10% of Native Americans own casinos!

...and all the usual fare ...and then it came out of the man's mouth ...
with a straight face ...


"We screwed up on our invasion policy, the best way to deal with these Indians was to wipe them all out at one time and be done with it! Now all they want is senior water rights, mineral rights, you name it, they want it. They should have killed them all off!"

Excuse me!!!!! As I looked into this person's eyes, it struck me, so this is how the Bush administration sees sovereign nations? Wipe em out for they will want to keep their lands natural resources or its wealth? A better invasion policy is to kill em all? God help us...for I believe in karma ...

Cannibals.
Sociopaths feed upon pity and hate,They cannot feel any love for others because they are unable to.This makes them dangerous.They are charismatic and predatory.
People like them DO need to be wiped off the planet.We have been so traumatized by sociopath authoritarians ands bullies we have forgotten how to protect ourselves from them.
For these kinds of people will not stop abusing and stealing and killing others on their own accord and nothing anyone can do can rehab them really because they can't feel guilt, shame ,empathy or remorse all the emotions that motivate introspection and change from within.

Some tribes were peaceful and egalitarian precisely because they killed off the power grabbing thieving sociopaths in the tribe with no pity for them.

I know it is unpleasant to think of..

But think all you need is one charismatic,manipulating, abusive con man in a group of decent people,and the whole group gets sick.

it was after this conversation that it occurred to me that I could bear arms against this sort of evil if someone like this tried to kill off a tribal person here in this country. Then it really struck me, why am I sitting here with my hands tied while my country's president and his capitalist cronies destroys other societies in the same way it all started here? Our advancements have made evil entrench itself ....

10. Sobering post, but true. I think the greatest hoax on America and

the wealthy versus the poor, is the myth that has been promoted, marketed by every media outlet known.

When I was much younger and a Republican, I was essentially taught that the liberals were out to take our money and our way of life.

There is a myth that it is the POOR and the LIBERALS who are taking all the money and resources.

That has been the greatest hoax of all.

It is the rich and wealthy who are living our of our backs: being the middle class and poor.

Our tax money is largely going to fund this war that benefits Dick Cheney and other already sinfully wealthy individuals. Who are the people working unGodly hours and hardly know their kids while the richest one percent make ungodly amounts of money and sit by the pool.

Thats the greatest myth of all: that it is the poor and middle class that are getting hand outs. The robbery is coming from the top.
