Alert! Demand apology from Inhofe!
Time to call the office of Inhofe and DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE APOLOGY for calling the Out of Iraq group the "Cut N Run Caucus"! It is a mischaracterization, divisive and wholly inappropriate! Like moths to a flame, this is another example of the malicious verbiage Republicans use to persecute Democrats. They just can't help themselves.

(Said it just a couple of minutes ago at the beginning of his remarks in the Situation in Iraq hearing airing at C-CSPAN3)

Inhofe, James- (R - OK) Class II
453 RUSSELL SENATE OFFICE BUILDING WASHINGTON DC 20510
(202) 224-4721

1. Why bother?
Republicans don't apologize for their words. Ever. It's a lesson we should learn from them. Fuck civility.

2. True!
Which is exactly why Inhofe's office staff should be deluged with an onslaught of calls, letters, and emails demanding an apology.

We should also start a Two Bits Campaign: every time the Democrats fight back and stand tall (as with Reid and Schumer on Rove's comments), give $2 to the DNC and/or the Senator. It adds up over time, and the more they give the more support they get! Every time they get $2, they know they've something standing up for us!

3. This is the only time you will read or hear about apologies for this
Now if a Democrat had made the comment it would be echoed across the nation by the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity, savage, Coulter, etc. etc. We have a very limited voice so we need to focus it on the really important stuff. Getting an apology from Rove now will be a huge coup because he is their genius.

5. Absolutely! Put Rove at the top of the list!
Add Inhofe and the others on the Alert list. Be relentless!

We can also add Ensign to the list. His statements (rhetorically) said that Democrats are supporting terrorists and killing our soldiers in Iraq. Then he asked SecDef if he agrees.

Byrd's on now.

4. Isn't he the one who used the word "nazi" regarding the kyoto treaty
Edited on Thu Jun-23-05 11:58 AM by Beaverhausen
wait...I'll find a link.

found it:

>>Last year, Republican Senator James Inhofe said the Kyoto climate treaty, quote, “would deal a powerful blow on the whole of humanity, similar to the one humanity experienced when Nazism and Communism flourished.” <<

as reported on Countdown last night:
