BEWARE: Rove's Checkmate Spells Disaster for America |
|
I've been wondering why Karl Rove would intentionally make such a statement, knowing that he knows exactly what his words will do. There must be a reason, and I think I know what it is.
Bush's (and all Republicans) numbers have been dropping dramitcally as have all the support for their agendas. What happened the last time this was the case for the administration? That's right, the worst thing that could happen to America.
And what has the administration done every time Bush (and/or the Republicans) have taken a beating in their poll numbers? They drug out some scare tactic like Anthrax or Duct-tape and plastic or Ol' Bin Laden himself. They use to just raise the bar on their color-coded chart, but that became too obvious.
Be afraid America. Be very afraid that Rove would make such comments as he has against the Democrats. Think what would happen IF there were an attack on our nation:
Everyone would be in fear. The Republicans would blame the Democrats for DIVIDING the nation (DSM, GITMO attacks, Durbin's words + apology). The Republicans would say, "SEE, we were RIGHT, the Democrats have NO IDEA how to handle the situation, and some are even acting in a TREACHAROUS fashion!" They would silence the Democrats for all time by taking the most outrageous and making an example of them. They would continue with all of their agenda items unhibited.
This is Rove's way of putting us in check. Is there any way out of mate?

"Everyone would be in fear" - no, just those in the blue states "Republicans would blame the democrats for dividing the nation" - proof is in the pudding, it's Bush that has divided this nation "Republicans would say, see, the democrats have no idea how to handle" - um, it's the REPUBLICANS that are in charge
Fuck Rove, checkmate? Please, if that's his plan, he's a shitty chess player.

3. It's just words. People are getting sick of their bullshit. |
|
They have screwed up everything so bad that screwing up one more thing won't make a dent at this point. Rove is just a narrow, ignorant, manipulative, immoral, unethical PR hack. He only got this far because the news media gave him a 100 MPH tailwind. He will go in with all jets flaming and the rudder dead ahead because he believes too much of his own bullshit. If he had any brains, he'd be looking into a one-way plane ticket to somewhere quiet that appreciates US dollars.

4. Seeing as the * Administration has successfully |
|
pissed off senior members in: 1) The State Department; 2) The CIA; 3) A significant number of Intelligence Officers in various Government Departments and specialties; and 4) Many "early retired" General Officers at the Pentagon.
Nope, no more tricks! Perhaps I'm too hopeful in the true "goodness" of many public servants and their loyalty to The Constitution and The People above partisan politics ...
But I honestly believe that there are NO MORE RABBITS for Rove-Co to pull out of his hat. I also believe that there are not enough missing blonds or boy scouts in the near future that THE MEDIA can NOT help but at least "half a**" do their jobs.
Bottom Line: I believe (hope and pray too!) that this Executive Branch's stranglehold on power is about to cease. ;)

"Karl Rove is a genius" is a beltway myth that lets Russert and Matthews pop boners without Viagra. Rove is just a bully with a ton of money. Fuck him.

6. You suggesting that KKKarl Rove and BushCo are orchestrating |
|
....another 9-11 style attack on America?
I think he said what he said to get political capital from the audience he was talking to, the Conservatives of New York. He repeated something that Bush said back in the 2004 campaign (CNN News reported this tonight), but he re-framed the same words and made it sound like democrats (used the code-word liberals meaning unAmerican) resisted giving any support or funding any action following 9-11. Rove said that to the audience that was sitting in front of him and got their cheers and applause. Then when he finished and left the banquet hall, he heard that the fire-storm was about to hit over his comments, he thanked God and said, bring'em on.
This is a sniveling, cheap little man who has position because the president has appointed him and power because the presidential office has power, but Bush is too stupid and lame to use any of that power, with Karl Rove's direction. Rove will never leave and Bush will never fire him. The target must be the president. If Bush is removed by impeachment, the entire BushCo house of cards implodes. DSM, stay focused, DSM!

The Republicans must be doing a good job, since we haven't been attacked again since 9/11.
