Why isn't Lieberman winning?
Didn't he get The New Republic's endorsement, after all?

(Yes, I skipped out on NH. Rough week and I overslept. Oh well.)

behind Kerry & Dean..

ahead of Clark & Edwards..

I only hope CNN poll is crazy.

4. Because he's a lying weasel. Just now told Wolf "for me it was always
about getting rid of Saddam" (can defend the WMD issue so he makes this shit up)

If he got the nomination, I'd stay home on election day.
:grr:

8. It would be very hard for me to vote, but I would.
Thank goodness I won't have that ethical dilemma to face!

5. Isn't Winning Because He Can't
Lieberman is not winning in New Hampshire and will not win anywhere else because he can't.

All you have to do is remember his 2000 debate with Dick "Chickenhawk" Cheney. Lieberman lost that debate!

Now Cheney is mean and ruthless, but he is a boring speaker, an ideologue who cannot think in a creative manner ... yet he still won the rhetorical battle over Lieberman.

Then there was Lieberman's comment during the Florida recount fight that ALL military votes should be counted --- even those cast after the election. The Bush mafia drove their vote-stealing semi-truck through that remark and cost Gore dearly in votes and public perception.

If Lieberman were the nominee, he would be so "civil" to Bush that it would be a landslide for the GOP.

6. Let's see, I have heard DINO, GOP-lite,
He isn't a democrat, he just plays one on TV.

He wouldn't be on my top 4, but Joe is Joe and he does have some good qualities.

9. I agree.
Sen. Lieberman has many progressive stands, and has a good record on civil liberties and the environment. :)

12. Joe just said Shrub not deserter
Said Moore was wrong; facts don't support it, & included Clark in critique.

13. Damned if I know
he exudes a quiet masculinity like noboby I know. Well, OK. Buddy Hackett had it. And maybe Alan King on his best days. Certainly he's more masculine than post-1967 Edye Gourmet, but not pre-67 Edye. And his policies are slightly more well thought-out than hers.

14. I have a lot of respect for Joe.
I have a lot of respect for Joe. Honestly, I do. He's a lot like Howard Dean expect on the opposite end of the political spectrum and a less than enthusiastic and energizing speaker. When it was no longer popular to support the war for Democrats and others were jumping ship, Joe stood his ground. Even though I disagree I have to respect that.

He is also right when he says the Republicans can't use their usual playbook against him. The unfortunate part about that fact is, it would be because they would be attacking their own platform. :P

I don't agree with Joe on most anything, but at the very least I respect him as a Senator and as a fellow Democrat.

15. at least Joe
has remained a democrat, unlike my senator - Zell Miller. which reminds me, we shouldn't worry about losing that seat in Georgia - cuz we don't have it. The Dems have a chance to pick up one.
