"The last thing that the Bush administration wants to do is... |
|
...get rid of John Kerry too quickly and have to worry about facing John Edwards."
That was the best line that I heard all morning long on the news shows!!!
It was on the Chris Matthews show and it came from Campbell Brown near the end of the show and she was talking about the OPPOSITION RESEARCH that the Bush administration has compiled against JOHN KERRY.
She said that it was this thick:
: : v
^ : :
Then she said that they were trying to decide when they should release it. They want to go on and start attacking Kerry right now, but they don't want to do it "too quickly" and RISK GETTING RID OF KERRY TOO SOON BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO FACE EDWARDS!!!
I was like, wowwwwww!
Should make Democrats think. Like we have always said, the GOP IS TERRIFIED OF GOING UP AGAINST EDWARDS, and they are adjusting their strategy to try and make sure that they don't have to.
Kerry supporters, just be glad that JRE is keeping the GOP from bringing down your guy right now, because they are laying back in order to try and keep from going up against Edwards.

to post a smart aleck reply here, about land in florida, but i restrained myself. (ok, i sorta restrained myself) but honestly, the very last thing we should be worried about is what karl rove thinks of our candidates. they will find dirt on anyone we nominate. if they can't, they will invent it. they will pull all kinds of dirty trick, and fool many of the sheeple. i don't even think we should be worry about who can beat whistleass. we should be nominating someone who REPRESENTS OUR PARTY! then we should get our asses out there, and get him elected.

What kind of foolish statement is that???
She said that the Bush administration has compiled A THICK BOOK OF OPPOSITION RESEARCH ON JOHN KERRY!
You don't have to "TRUST" anyone to know that, FACT, duh.
I mean, I get so sick and tired of people on this board criticizing EVERY THING THAT COMES OUT OF THE MEDIA'S MOUTH, even when you know for a fact that it is true!
I have very good judgement, and understanding, definitely more than some people on this board and the fact of the matter is everything that the media is now saying about Dean and the good things that they are saying about Edwards, I was saying it all year long, so it's about time that they have begun to say it, and just because they are now saying doesn't mean that I'm not going to agree with it when I have been saying it LONG since before they said it.
Anyone with any bit of a clue, knows that Kerry is much easier to run against by the Republicans than Edwards. For the simple fact that Kerry has a long history, and A LOT OF NEGATIVES AND CONTRADICTIONS in that history. That's one negative for him. Then there is the Massachussets liberal thing that carries a lot more weight than, "YOU HAVEN'T BEEN IN POLITICS FOR A LONG TIME SO YOU DON'T HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE" when it comes to being a national candidate.
"Trust"?
Whatever, I don't trust anyone. I don't know everything but I do know everything that I know, and I know when someone says something that's true, and what she said was A FACT.
Kerry is much easier for the GOP to run against than Edwards. Edwards gives them flashbacks and nightmares. They see history repeating itself -- 1992 -- when they look at Edwards. When they look at Kerry they see Dukakis's Lt. Governor, and they don't fear that.

3. Kerry has a big lead!!! |
|
Where have we heard that before? Dean?
Two candidates give Bush the most trouble:Clark and Edwards. Clark the military/security issue...Edwards on protecting people from corporations. Both have Southern appeal possibilities and few negatives. Any negatives are over-inflated and reaching.

4. I heard that all morning as well, |
|
And my husband and I made the comment that the media is handing the bu$h exactly what he wants.
I am not against Kerry, I like him. But if that is what the pundits think, they are giving bu$h exactly what he wants.
MTP spent most of their time dissing Clark this morning.

5. Can the GOP really pick who will win the Dem nomination? |
|
If you believe that, why should we have any hope at all of winning the general election?

6. They're scared to death of Edwards AND Clark |
|
and if the Dems go for a Clark/Edwards ticket we'll own the White House for the next 16 years.
YeeeEEEEAAAAHHHH!!
(BTW I'm a Clarkie but I think Screamin' Dean was just great. If his voice hadn't given out halfway during his cheerleading, sounding harsh and scary, it would have been a whole different ballgame. I heard that speech first, and winced on his behalf. Then I saw it and saw he was laughing through it along with everyone else, and realized it was all good loud fun. Piss on the media morons who've made it such a big bad deal.)
