Layoff 13,000 in US and Europe. Hire 14,000 in India. One less company for me to mess with. Bush did say Americans are working.....on unemployment forms.

7. IBM products fell off my brand names to purchase list....
with the Lenovo deal. This only confirms that my decision was right. IBM now joins the ranks with Walmart, congratulations big blue!!!

9. How about boycotting ALL foreign goods also such as...
Japanese, Korean, German cars, All made in China goods, etc. etc.

Every time you buy one of above, good jobs are lost in the US.

My point is it is not just the export of white collar jobs hurts,
but also loss of higher paying manufacturing jobs in the USA.

13. :-) I said MADE in foreign countries, did not quote any BRAND names
But there is a slight discrepancy in your stating that
Honda/Toyota's are made in the USA. They are ASSEMBLED
in the USA. A significant portion of the parts going into
those cars are imported. They assemble it here to avoid
paying import duties and tariffs.
