Ron Reagan rips Republicans |
|
Just now on MSNBC
He said "right-wing jihadists wouldn't recognize the truth if it was giving them a lap dance." He said Republican dishonesty is matched only by its incompetence.
He cited numerous examples of Republicans using the "N-word" as in Nazi and said Democrats need to STOP APOLOGIZING.

I love that line! And from what we've seen from the "moral values" crowd, they are all too familiar with lap dances.

Too bad he couldn't change that. What's the deal with people and faith in politics? I remember last April here in my town we had a mayoral race and there were rumors going around one of the canidates was an atheist and everybody on the local news networks were freaking out. One local network did an interview with this canidate and of course she was a Christian. This appointent claimed someone from the now mayor's campaign sent it out without proof of course. I don't see why what someone personally believes matters. I remember hearing stories of how when JFK was running people would freak out about him being a Catholic and have wild theories that he and the Pope were going to take over the country. :eyes: Too bad he couldn't run and change things.

13. Lets see how many examples we can come up... |
|
Femi-Nazi - Rush Limbaugh.
"We certainly have all seen the rejections of Nazi Germany's abuses of science,” Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) declared regarding his opposition to stem cell research last October. “As a society and a nation, there ought to be some limit on what we can allow or should allow."
In response to a ruling on abortion last September, Congressman Steve King said following law on reproductive rights equivalent to a Nazi guard saying he was following orders.
“That, Mr. Speaker, is a ‘modern-day’ equivalent of the Nazi prison guard saying 'I was just following orders,’” he said on the House floor Sept. 8, 2004. “It was all legal in Nazi Germany at the time.”
Another senator even compared the Kyoto climate treaty to Nazism, repeating a quotation from a Russian official.
Sen. James Inhofe said Oct. 11, 2004 that Kyoto "would deal a powerful blow on the whole humanity similar to the one humanity experienced when Nazism and communism flourished."

I'm pretty sure that Nancy Reagan agrees with Ron, Jr. - especially on stem-cell research. I think Old Ron might surprise us all.

The republicans expect dems to apologize for every word uttered they feel reflects on them badly. Yet when they spew vile hateful words us dems are expected to cower down and take it.

I do believe she has turned into a Democrat but is too tired to change now. If she will just stay with the stem cell issue that would be ok with me.

How long before the repubs come out and say that Ron Reagan isn't the true son of Saint Ronnie. You know that at least privately most of the repubs consider the adopted son to be more of a son to the great one then Ron Jr.

I remember when he spoke at the DNC convention about stem cell research and he and his mother came out for it cause of his father. All the rightwingers were calling them traitors and stuff. It was great because of how they idolize Reagan!
