Repubs are trying to intimidate Democrats into silence..
Remember what we did to Tom Daschle, they whisper in the background? They have attacked every Democratic leader in the last week or two. They do character assassination very well. They are very successful at putting Democrats on the defensive - in order to quell any opposition and to push their own agenda.

We must continue to counter these attacks and to question their incompetence and motives. Many of our "leaders" are intimidated already. We cannot let that happen.

1. I don't question Rethuglican incompetence or motives at all.
I know for a fact they're highly incompetent. So do many soldiers who've been injured for lack of the proper protective gear, and any conservative truly interested in fiscal responsibility...et cetera. And their motives are usually illegal, morally bankrupt, and self-serving.

Too bad most Dem leaders are too polite to say these things. The truth resonates with people. Lies, like the ones Rove spewed and the Rethugs keep repeating (as if just saying something is the truth makes it so) ticks decent people off and makes them start to wonder what ELSE they've been told is the truth, but ain't.

3. Consistently move back with the true fighters...
Howard Dean and the like speak for this whole movement. They are the true fighters and need to be making headlines all the time.
