Did Jennings unwittingly help us???
His sneak attack on Clark Thursday may have backfired... Smirk's desertion is still beig discussed today. Even McAuliffe found the nads to bring it up.

I see a whole new era of journalism beginning. Between now and November we'll learn the truth about *'s police record, his abortion, his insider tradng, Cheney's erergy task force, 9/11, anthrax, WMD, ...

I know you did it by accident, but THANKS PETER!!!

6. Exactly Right
We'd have a whole lot more traction if all the Dems had guts.

Joe L today on CNN said that Shrub was NOT a deserter, & also dissed Clark.

14. How does Joe know this?
Just as with Kerry, he makes a claim that he doesn't have the facts to back up. And it supports Bush. What is wrong with this picture?

22. The big Lie
berman Senator Joe is just trying to neg-attack & scratch his way into 4th in NH, to avoid embarrassment. Sad that a "Dem" is helping the Repugnants.

8. Look...
when Clark pulled rank on Kerry it didn't go over very well. It's not for Kerry to bash Georgie on his AWOL status...it just has to be out there so that Ed Gillespie and his ilk have to defend the indefensible.

13. Clark clarified his statements
and complimented Kerry later....but when he had a chance to return the favor....Kerry caved....and then proceeded to slam Clark and Moore

it's obvious Kerry's presidential ambitions outweigh all other concerns

15. you know that was in response to a Bob Dole
dig at Clark don't you. When Dole told Clark that in politics Kerry is the General and Clark is the Lieutenant. Clark responded to that and Kerry is trying to make hay with it. Kerry should be clever enough to be able to make the right kind of hay from this issue by using it against Bush instead of Clark. As far as Lieberman goes...what did we all expect?

16. Clark didn't pull rank.
His statements were quite kind, especially when one compares them to Kerry's comments on the matter.

Bob Dole made. It was probably a purposeful mistake that Bob made.

33. I guess ambition trumps guts in this case.
The good of the one vs the good of the many.

A politician vs a military man.
Dare I say: a Lieutenant vs a four star General.

an accident. Either way, it will help in the long run, but only with Clark or a dem with nerve (which not all the candidates have).

12. It's called hubris. Didn't expect Clark will stand his ground
They tried to intimidate him before (remember Asman?). It worked so well with the other dems, they can't break the habit. (remember when kerry said"regime change begins at home and they made him retract?)
They are too full of themselves to learn. yeap. W's war record is fair game - they made it so. Everyone knows of the Moore endorsement (up to that point I was sending copies to NH voters). Moore is in the center of attention and will use it well.

19. No. He knowingly did by repeating the charge twice to Clark
He gave Clark not one, but TWO stabs at the question. he repeated for severlaa million Americans to hear. It was great. Jennings scored one for the good guys.

media picked it up and it's back on the radar screen. Many voters that didn't know or care about it the first time around, may pay more attention this time.
