Who is your 08 favorite supporting for Congress in 06?
Actually, the title to my post is a bit disingenuous, and is based on my having just read this post:

But that post put me in mind of a larger issue. It would be enormously useful if the leading Dems, and of course any potential 08 presidential candidates, worked now to elect dems to lesser offices. Two things would come from this. It would help in getting close to, or even beyond, a majority in Congress and it would serve as a referendum of sorts for the presidential hopefuls themselves. A pretest, if you will, of their coat tails.

I'm glad to See Clark supporting a candidate for the House. Surely, however, he's not the only one who will be supporting, or campaigning for, other Dem candidates.

I am embarrassed to say, however, that until I read this, I didn't know he was. I am even more embarrassed to say that I don't know who any of the others are supporting.

The only one to whom this can't apply is Dean. In his role, he simply can not be seen as being a partisan for any Dem candidate until we have a presidential nominee.
