What are we fighting for? |
|
Your Sunday introspection thread .......
By 'we' I mean Democrats.
What are we fighting for?
Our country?
Our kids?
Out of Iraq?
If idiot son, tomorrow, said we're leaving Iraq in the hands of the Iraqis and our troops will begin to leave tomorrow and the oil will be managed by the Iraqis under UN supervision, will we have lost?
What are we fighting for?

most articles I've read trumpet an era of "Democratic unity."
Yet the vibe I get on DU is nothing like that. I think we're doing better than we think, but at DU things tend to get blown way out of proportion.

2. I dunno about you, but here's what I'm fighting for |
|
Open Government
a Balanced, Free Press where Truth is the aim, not spin
an End of Government/Corporate Cronyism
a return to "America, the beacon of Human Rights"
an End to "Globalization" on the backs of US workers
major reform of IMF and the World Bank (ala Economic Hitmen)
that's a short list....
