Greatest bill passed by Congress in the 20th century? |
|
I was thinking about this earlier today, and I narrowed it down to these three:
1. Clean Air Act- According to various studies, it has saved billions of dollars in health costs, not to mention making everything cleaner. 2. Civil Rights Act of 1964- made enormous strides in ending segregation and discrimination. 3. Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction- Has destroyed over 6,000 nuclear warheads and made Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan nuclear weapons free. Has done a lot for the spirit of cooperation with other countries.
What would get your votes?
