"US talking with insurgents" is a propaganda set-up... |
|
And probably not totally disconnected with Bush's scheduled speech tomorrow night. When Rumsfeld or Cheney was asked about it, they had no idea about it?? They are putting this information out into the public to see how it plays because they now see that there is no "military" way out of this mess in Iraq. They have no choice but to talk with the "insurgents". They are backed into a corner. They are setting up the public with a PR campaign to validate their future negotiations with the "insurgents". (not terrorists)

1. Cheney, where is he? Hospital story on the level or the new code name |

for the Undisclosed Location Bunker when he hatches his most vile plans?
'Talking with Insurgents' translates to: We've milked this horse for all he's worth, pardners. Time to hitch up the wagons and mosey on over to Iran for some war profiteering in a new low-cal...

But the Neo-nibs shouldn't expect much to come from any talks should they ever happen. There's absolutely no reason why we should be trusted after so many broken promises.
If I were an Iraqi rebel I'd tell them, "Here are our conditions: we'll stop fighting if you get the hell out -- COMPLETELY out -- and let us have our country back. Take your rambos and your corporations and your widescreen tvs and your puppets and your oil chiefs with you. Our newly elected president, whoever he may be, will let YOU know the cost of a barrel of oil when we're ready. Bye."
Hey, we DID promise the Iraqis democracy, did we not?

You have continued to call our enemies in IRAQ Terrorists since the war began. It was convenient to attach that label to them while we are waging a War Against Terrorism. You have said that you will not negotiate with the Terrorists. Now that you see that you must negotiate with them, you seem to have suddenly stopped calling them terrorists and started calling them insurgents.
You are a hypocritical, lying, negotiating with the terrorists, dumbass, wanna be president that doesn't have the balls to own up to your own words.

8. I thought the terrorists were not supposed to have leaders, though. |
|
I wondered how they could put out that the US was meeting with Insurgents when supposedly they are all "Terraists" not organized and therefore not covered by the Geneva Conventions, or International Law. At least that's what Gonzalez and Bush agreed was the case. :eyes:
When I first heard they were meeting with the "Insurgents" I wondered if that wouldn't cause them heat when the photo's from Gitmo come out.
You are probably correct, Kentuck, but wouldn't that mean they really put their foot in it? Couldn't this open them up to questions about their policy that terrorists are just killers and have no organized command?

9. Ummm, I thought we didn't negotiate with terrorists? |
|
Why would we need to negotiate with them if the insurgency is in it's last throes?
What a clusterfuck.... :eyes:
